have acquired horrendous wetsuit tan lines that make my hands and feet look like they have been put under the grill, medium rare…but aside from this the british weather did in fact deliver for the midweek surfin.

the spontaneity of my household never fails to amaze. my family woke me up at 5 in the morning, uttering some idea about driving to weymouth to see the sailing. and begrudgingly I went along with it, I quickly came round to it once I’d wiped away the tears of sleep deprivation… we drove at dawn, spent a few hours there.
Then I went to work.
